Our rates are very competitive. Because we are not a law firm, they are usually much lower than a solicitor's would be. The first conversation is free, and we agree the fee in writing before any work starts. We do not publish a price list, because every situation is different, and we would rather understand yours first.
What's free
- Your first conversation with Billy or Pravesh, which lasts 15 to 30 minutes. There is no obligation to go further.
- Our help and support lines page, which lists free organisations you can contact today.
How we agree a fee
Free call: We listen. Then: Explain the work: Plain words, agreed tasks. Then: Written scope and fee: Read it in your own time. Then: You agree: Nothing starts before then
How payment works: fees are payable when you engage us and, for hearing support, before the day of attendance. You receive the written scope and an invoice from Get Biz Wise Limited first, and a receipt for every payment. We accept all common payment methods, including bank transfer, card and cash. Your 14-day cancellation rights are explained in your agreement and in our terms.
If your hearing is moved or cancelled: If the court moves your hearing, your fee carries over to the new date. If the hearing does not go ahead, or the judge does not permit us to attend, we refund the attendance fee, less any travel costs already booked and agreed with you in writing.
What is included and what isn't
The written agreement sets out exactly what we will do. Fees are fixed or scoped, and there are no charges linked to results.
If something new comes up, we will explain it and agree any additional charge with you beforehand. We will not expand the work without your agreement.
If you need legal advice, we will point you towards a solicitor.
Changing your mind
For distance contracts, you have a 14-day cancellation period. If you ask us in writing to start sooner, we charge a proportionate amount for work done. Our terms explain this in full.
